Member: 2178256 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | New user - Error when trying to unlock Alcatel OT-C635X I am trying to unlock Alcatel OT-C635X phone. I know that the phone is old, but I received my FuriousGold box today, and want to test it to make sure it works okay. This phone is the only one I have available at the moment. I am using the FGOLD 048 cable to connect the phone to the FuriousGold box, after reading threads on this forum advising it. I am using PHILALC v1.0.0.1236 (on both WinXP and Windows 7) I am trying to use the "READ CODES" operation. I have tried with "USE FTDI" both checked/unchecked. When I power on the phone, it reads some initial information, but then displays ERROR. Here is the log: Press power on for 2-3 seconds and after release ! Starting communication ... Requesting phone info ... FW_ID: 0850010304020000 PLATFORM: TCT TYPE: Alcatel OT-C630/635 Error ... ! Time needed - 00:00:09 Does anyone have any idea why the operation does not complete? Thanks! |

Member: 2178256 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | For future reference: Cable FGOLD-048 would not work. Instead, used cable FGOLD-035 and connected TX,RX GND to visible pads when back case is removed. Google "9m3ia_alcatel_c630_c635" for diagram (I would link, but I cannot post links yet) Worked fine! |
