ordered FuriousGold USB Blackberry & HTC - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys,

I am a noob and waiting for the USB to arrive. I just noticed there is BOX and USB version and the USB version does not comes with cable.

Does it mean the USB cable which connects BB phone?

I would be using this to change the IMEI and PIN of my BB, is there anything else i need?

For BB original usb cable is enough BUT you CAN'T chnage imei or PIN on new blackberry models !

I have received the USB dongle and it is connected to my laptop windows 7 64 bits.

I have double clicked on my computer and I dont see the device.

What should i do? Is there a manual to go with this?

I assumed that BB phones listed as supported on FG website are able to change the IMEI and BB PIN?

Am i able to un suspend for those supported BB which is listed as supported on FG website?

Can change imei and pin but not for the latest released model.

You go PACK4 folder on support. And latest version isnt RHUM

I have downloaded BlackBerry_Smart_Tool_v1.0.0.1190_********_eDition .rar , is this what i need?

Do i need to install latest Blackberry desktop software?

i have latest black berry desktop manager installed.

the following is what i did

1. check disable on fast code read
2. input my previous BBPIN
3. click on Do Job

The status screen only shows the following

Searching for usb device ...
Booting usb device ...

This new BB is a Curve 8900 ...

What should i do?

Some information ? the Furious team work to give solution to repair imei in new model of blackberry ,? like 9700, 8520 etc ?
