qcom stuck on searching phone; telstra smart touch 2 aka zte z990 perhaps?

Hi hacker2k

Im trying to unlock telstra(AU) smart touch 2 . The drivers are installed and the phone is in ftm mode(by pressing home vol down and power) . The qcom detects
"zte cdma handset diagnostics interface com 117" and "zte nmea device com 115" although plz note that the handset is not cdma, its GSM.

So when i click on do job, nothing happens. it just keeps searching phone.
smart touch 1 was t3020 aka racer but smart touch 2 is not racer, it looks exactly like zate avail z990.

Any help on that one
