Stuck when unlocking 8300 with BB smart tool - GSM-Forum

Hi

I am unlocking a BB 8300 - choose "unlock" with disable fast code read.

after choosing the same sfi file, it stuck on "connected" not responding. pls help. , now the phone stuck on "NO application linked, factory 05". whenever try to turn on. I have tried to do it again, but everytime stuck on same area.

s/w version : v4.2.2.89 ( platform 2.4.0.42 ) .

pls advice. tks.

After trying couple of times, it finally gone through ( has to press power button to help under the phone is off with no error message showing ) but then stuck on error 507 with a circle around it. No matter what I did, I cannot get that away. Under this error, I cannot even get the phone connected to the BB Desktop Manager to reflash the firmware. Finally I fix it by make it stuck again in "no application link" , then reflash the fimware. Then the phone is alive again and unlocked.

me too same problem with 8300
i got from clear password from bbsmarttool, now i will to reflash, i will postresult tomorrow
