tu500s dead unlock. - GSM-Forum

Good day!

i have here a tu500s Lg phone i needed to unlock. i followed the procedure:
(1) flash NV_TU500_TU500F_TU550.nv2
(2) Then unlock

tried it two times but still the same.

so i flashed the phone with TU500-V10a-APR-02-2007-TEL-AU+2.sex
after flash the software was at "WAITING FOR WAKE UP"

when i checked the phone it's already dead.

any solution so i can flash back the phone with better firmware? i cant detect it anymore w/ Qfg v1.0.0.628 since i cant turn it ON.

You should do FULL UNLOCK with SKIP NV checked. Next time ask before do experiments by flashing wrong fw ! Now phone is totally dead forever.

aw that is very sad...
is it the wrong firmware? tu500 for tu500s? i did full unlock before flashing but still its lock showing "insert Telstra sim"

okay...

how about for U890,

1. Flash using special file from support.

U890_V10a_wm-JUN-07-2006-H3G-IT.rar <---- is this the correct flash file?

2. Detach phone from usb cable
3. Insert orginal simcard or any sim card accepted by phone
4. Put the usb cable or charger (phone start charging)
5. Wait 10 sec then power on the phone.
6. Go in phone menu at unit converter (the phone will restart)
7. Quickly remove battery, change current sim with other one (64k, 128k) and put battery back and wait.

P.S: if phone results on no network then write nv file for u890 from support and then repeat the procedure from 2 to 7.

Yeah any _wm firmware is good and U890 fortunetly cannot be killed no matetr what you write on it

Hi

You can unlock TU500s, DM Client Version 1.1,but can't unlock now 1.2 and higer.
Check Hendset info
