Member: 13836 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | unsupported simlock 9000 the second came up unsupported simlock try slow method, so i thought ok... after a few minutes asked me for fsi file ???? went to support picked latest fsi for 9000 , software then decided to flash fsi and code came up in left handside box network, but handset had errors jvm cant load etc.... at his point got a bit worried but tought what the hell , went onto blackberry software and downloaded latest upgrade package and reloaded the software and finally the handset came back to life, entered the code as mep2 and voila hand set is unlocked..... my question was this the correct way as fast read didint work, and any way to avoid flashing fsi and full firmware for unlocking..also will this method work on all handsets and versions.... thank in advance |
