than try to update

and if you find problem again in maintenance than contact Steve, he is online through skype

Its seems there something wrong in the new QCOM Application either in Pack 5 update, coz after updating the dongle and using the new application still says Applet not found....

Where is the lastest version? can you please post here? Because QCOM_SMART_TOOL_v1.0.0.2440 this is the latest version available on furious support.
