vodafone 875 - How do you Read Codes and Unlock via Cable - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have been given unlock code for my device via oneunlock but am given a 'slot permanently locked error' which I also found in this forum.
Response so far is to unlock via cable from oneunlock
For reference - Order 682532

My questions then..
1. How do you get the codes using furious gold hardware / software
(so I can save money and read it myself)

2. What tool do I use cable and soft/hardware to enter codes if not possible via handset.

Managed to get codes directly via cable using MTKReader

Searching phone;
Phone detected ( USB VCOM Port)
Preparing to start meta mode;
Searching for debug port; (be sure drivers from support were installed)
Debug Port found on Android Gadget VCOM Driver (COM39);
Preparing to connect meta mode;
Meta mode entered;
Baseband Chip: MT6575
Sw version:
Hw Version: JRDSH75_CU_JB_HW
Reading phone info;
IMEI: 359385-05-400207-8
Reading simlock info;

NOTE: Most of the times one of the first variants will work !

MODEL: OT-V875
UNLOCK CODE: 0 8 3 9 0 8 2 7

MODEL: OT-V875
UNLOCK CODE: 0 6 9 0 9 1 0 5

MODEL: OT-V875
UNLOCK CODE: 0 3 3 7 0 7 6 8

Can someone assist with entering these codes please?

Question 1.
When compose, press the phone icon (as if to enter a phone number)
then type the unlock sequence?
i.e press phone icon *#0000*06909105#*#0001*06909105# phone icon

with this, i get this message
this slot is permanently locked

I have also used
press phone icon *#0000*06909105# phone icon

and still get the same error as above

Question 2.
For the codes.. do I use the first one, and finish with a different code?
i.e press phone icon *#0000*06909105#*#0001*14482897# phone icon
or us the same code like so..

i.e press phone icon *#0000*06909105#*#0001*06909105# phone icon

I have tried these but am still getting the same error.

If the phone is blocked theres no way to enter them. You have to use OTSMart, reflash the phoen in order to reset its counters. After can enter the codes normally

Can you advise which flash file in the download section please?
Do I use the OT-875 files in the Alcatel section?

If yes, which one is english?

Any flash and all of them have english inside

Used V875-2[X=A,B,C]P4HI1 as this matches label n backside of mobile.

Mobile is now unlocked. Thanks Furious Team!

Steps:
1. Downloaded flash file from download section (members only)
2. Flashed file using OTSmart and selecting Vodafone 875 and ticked Write Factory Firmware
3. Used MTKReader to read codes
i. Select Alcatel MTK Android (USB)
ii. Click Read Codes THEN plug in switched-off handset with battery inside
4. Unplug phone, insert SIM, switch on then try codes provided by MTKReader.

Awesome stuff!
