New Blazer problem ...help

I need some comment from Lg blazer'er . I just got my LG blazer yesterday and have some bad experience with this product. I also got a 5metre serial printer extention cable as it was not incuded inside the package.

Setuping the equipment is pretty straight forward and i tried to test each LG cables (A -F ) and the box is able to detect the cable properly. When i tried to test it on my LG 8120 ver 100 on my personal desktop computer, it kept prompting "communications error".

When i tried on the another computer, it is able to connect to the phone but it is very stable. When i tried to press the connect button , the program will said that "connecting phone ..pls wait " ....then it will said "communications error" before the program actually connected to the phone.

In summary , the sequence is as follow

"connecting phone ..pls wait" ==> "Communications error x2 " ==> "connected"

The problem has not yet end . Even thou it is connected , the program does not show the model of the phone and the IMEI number. Check this jpg file Sometime it is able to show the model of the phone and the IMEI but somehow it did not show all the IMEI number. In my first attempt, i press the unlock button and it kill my LG 8120 phone instantly. The phone is totally dead and unable to boot up with the battery . Fortunately i manage to get a replacement set from my seller.

During my second attempt on my new replacement phone , I have to connect to the phone over 50 times before it FINALLY show the model and all the IMEI number. I manage to unlock the phone finally.

Do any one has this similar problem as what i have encounted. I need some help badly cos my blazer look pretty unstable.

I suspect that my serial cable is too long or the F cable is faulty. Any advise. I read a thread about communication error , do u think it is the cable faulty. ?

Also , if the LG 81xx phone is dead , do u think i can recover the phone back by flashing the phone with the flash cable.

Are you connecting USB power to the dongle?

Alright. Just checking. That can cause communication errors.

And yes, I mean the box. Older customers like me have a smaller dongle

actually, i suspect it is the USB power/motherboard driver issue. When i tried it on my PC , it does not work at all and it always give me communication error.

But when i tried it on my friend's PC , it is aleast better but take me around 50 tries before it show the model and IMEI number.
