Problems with a blazer box - GSM-Forum

Hi, i have a lot of problems with a blazer box: I've used other blazer before, so i know the product.

When i connect a phone to cable F, and i press Power ON, the phone power on without problem, after pressing Connect, program read some parameters but don't give me the imei and i get "communication error"

If i press unlock, i get always communication error too.

I've tryed with 8110 8120 ( testing now, always error ) 8130 and 8138.

Sw version: Blazer 6.6 or 6.7 ( tested both )

Any suggestion?

Me too, i can unlock C1100 but not for LG U81xx series.
For U81xx always show "Communication Error"
ive been check it on 3 different PC, all same

i have old blazer whit db9 cables.till now was working well.but now when i tray to unlock whit d cable he says comunications error.
cable d is recognized but dont conect whit phone

some sugestions?

Hi Bypx,

I have a similar problem to you. I bought a new Blazer Box a month ago from an authorised seller and have yet to unlock a phone with it. I keep getting the message 'communication error'.

I connect the LPT cable,
then the USB cable,
then the 'F' cable,
I open the software LG3G09 / LG3G08(I've tried the older versions aswell),
I connect the phone without the battery,
I press connect
after 3-5 seconds it says 'communication error'.

I've tried with different computers, different LPT and USB cables and a different 'F' cable still the same message 'communication error'. I've sent a couple of messages to Irinel but no reply.

Any body have any ideas or do you think I'd be better off getting a refund and buying Vygis?

Do like this :
1. connect usb + lpt + cable f (example)
2. start sw and select phone type
3. press connect and connect phone to cable very fast.
i can work with 3g phones only in this way.

update vers. 10

- bug fixed on read flash & gdfs

- unlock added on U8150
info: - conect cable A and run LG3G10.exe
- connect phone with batery !!!
- Phone MUST BE ON!!!
- push connect and unlock

open the box and find inside a zenner diode ( D4 ).
remove it or replace it, and your box will work 100%

i had the same problems .
since " LG3G10.exe " box is working fine with 8110/20 to !!

My supplier replaced my box and it worked first time.

No more 'communication error'.

Communication problem fix...accidently...

In the bios setting, make sure you select EPP...and use Blazer version 7.1, somehow it worked...now i can unlock L1400..no problem...but with 7.2 and up..i always get communication error...
