When does LG U8120 have to be flashed, when unlocking - GSM-Forum

Hi!

When unlocking V105 and higher, LG U8120 needs to be flashed, right?

I've unlocked a few V105 without flashing, but the factory version is V101. Is it only when V105 is the factory version, that the phone needs to be flashed?

What determines, if the phone needs to be flashed or not?

when version is higher than v101 and refuses to be unlocked

if you have a handset that is version 102 and 105 then drive c v101 needs to be flashed into handset then unlock can be carried out
