do we have to configure one of each cable that came with uni-clip ie 1 nokia, 1 motorola, 1 sharp or configure all cables all nokias all samsungs ??

Cable configuration

I understand that any ONE for the nokia is used (with a connector on other end ...ie. 6230) & the rest are listed as exactly by model number (one of each make other that Sharp, for which you will have to do the GX 30 & then GX20 as in the list) as you go through it. I think all cables are RJ45 not the USB!.

How does the uppdate cable look like?

I cant find any cable that i can connect to the comport!

There is a cable that has a rs232 connector on one end that fits into the comport (also know as serial port, or com 1) on your computer & it has a RJ-45 connector on the other end. You need to connect it between the comport & the RJ 45 socket on the uni-clip (where you usually connect the phone cables into the clip).

Take a look at the posts I done on the adapter use & you will see the update cable being used there on one end of the adapters

Then i have a problem becaus i do not have the cable , that goes between
the clip and the compter(comport)

I suggest you contact your reseller because Uni-Clip comes with the com port cable . This is not only used for updating the clip, but also useful for using the RJ45 cables via the 'green' adaptors to make them able to be used as 'com port' cables.

My clip is updated and is working fine now.

This update covees the Samsung E800/820 as far as i know.

Apparently a big update is due in late Feb.
