configuration error on S710a after firmware flashing

i've flashed an s710a with:
S710a_R2A016_AMERICA_FIRMWARE.S7S
and
S710a_R2A016_AMERICA_USAEN_LATES_CANFR.S7D

durring first attempt the process completed but i got a "configuration error" on the phone. I then tried flashing the phone again and the battery went dead, I charged battery back up and flashed again, process completed but i get "configuration error" on the phone when i try to turn it on, even after removing the battery and replacing it.

I want to know if doing a "recover phone" procedure and then reflashing the phone is the right thing to do. I also read that someone fixed their configuration error message by just doing the unlock procedure.

I really don't want to waste another credit on a 3rd flashing if just unlocking the phone will work.

if anyone has experience fixing the "configuration error" message please reply.

thanks!

Try flashing back the backup you made from the phone before you flashed it.
