defective usb cable?

hi all,

i was having some problems a couple of days ago while debranding my w810i and i am trying to identify the source. i was getting an error that my battery was fully discharged (Error Code 0x002F15) and i was left with a dead phone at this point.

i gave it a second try (without charging or changing the battery) and the process started again but it stoped with the same error at the same point.

i remember reading in this forum some days ago a post about a similar situation and someone sugested a defective cable (sorry i can't find the post). could this be my problem? i know for sure that my battery was fully charged when i started flashing.

i managed to flash my phone using a dcu-60 (again without charging the battery as i didn't have any way of doing so) and it worked just fine.

btw... i used the same multiserver cable to unlock my phone just before debranding and it worked fine. now that i think about it... i haven't charged the battery in between.

so, any ideas???
