Problems with Swedish Comviq after successful unlock


Have unlocked a few Z1010, all seems to have this problem..

All sim cards seems working fine, tried a few ones (3, telia etc..) except for Comviq-kontant.

When booting the phone.. everything seems fine.., can see the Comviq net.. can call.. recieve call.. etc.... but then after like 20sec to 2min.. cannot call, recieve call.. and phone says 'network unavailable' after a while instead of Netname.., but there's ok signal (3 of 5)..

This just happends to the Comviq-kontant cards..

Tried same card in different Z1010's.. all unlocked.. same problem
Also have tried different comviq-kontant cards in different Z1010 (both R1H015 and 007 versions).. same problem..

But, also.. have tried a 'DJuice' card that uses the same Comviq network in Z1010, no problem at all !! , so cant be a problem with the network.

This seems it has a problem with the simcard i guess.. old version maybe.. anyone here in sweden tried this and figured out the problem?

Anyway.. i the meanwhile, have mailed Comviq support service, waiting for an answer.

Om det är så att du har ett kontantkort så fungerar inte det i en 3G
telefon. Man måste ha ett SIM-kort som är anpassat för 3G och det finns
än så länge bara om man har ett abonnemang.

Detta är tyvärr ett vanligt fel på denna telefonmodell.
Tyvärr kan vi in garantera att denna modell kommer fungera med vårat
kontantkort.
Vad du kan prova med är att gå in under
Kommunikation > Nätverk > Önskade Nät > på telefonen.
Markera Sweden 3G och trycka "c" så denna raderas.
Detta kan hjälpa då telefonen konstant söker efter 3G-nätet om denna
finns kvar och därmed skapar konflikt för 2G-kortet du har.
Kan dock som tidigare nämnt inte garantera att detta kommer fungera.

Finns även ny mjukvara att hämta hos återförsäljarna från den 25/10

This seems to be the problem, as another user ive talked with have said the same thing.

Seems this have nothing to do with the type of sim u have.. same problem on old (like 5years old sim) as newer ones (like half year old)..

Have tried to do this settings.. no luck yet.. but i will keep trying for a while..

Would like trying to test that new firmware, should be out now.. hope someone can rip it and give it to murphy.., coz that cant be the R1H015 they talking bout, right?

If anyone of u got a comviq kontant working successfully in Z1010.. please reply!

The problem is, that when it detects another 3G net.. (3G Sweden), it tries to connect to it instead of S IQ (Swedish Comviq).

Detta problem har, vad jag vet, endast varit med Z1010. Kanske kan en
uppdatering hjälpa, du kan ju testa iallafall. Kan dock inte garantera något. När det gäller Djuice så verkar det mycket konstigt att detta fungerar.
Har du kollat med SonyEricsson om dom har någon lösning på problemet?
Numret till SonyEricsson är 013-244 500 om du skulle behöva det.

Jo, misstänkte det.. comviq har ett samband att lägga av när loggan
bredvid signastyrkan längst upp kommer fram (antar att den visar när 3g är tillgängligt).

Hade ingen förkonfigurerad lista på Önskade nät, men testade att la
till bara S IQ (Comviq) utan andra nät.. startade om.. ingen skillnad.. 3g loggan kommer upp och det trasslar igen.., testade en andra gång.. la även dit svenska 3 (tre) under C IQ i listan.. med prioritet 2.. (tänkte lura den att försöka ansluta till 3 ist. för 3G Sweden..).. startade om.. ingen skillnad..., testade en tredje gång.. la dit 3G Sweden som lägs prioritet under S IQ i listan.. (Så att den kanske skulle ta Comviq före 3G Sweden..) .. ingen skillnad..

Antar att det är kört.., men förstår fortfarande inte varför en kompis

DJuice kort som använder Comviq nätet fungerar helt utan problem.., är det för att han kör abbonemang?..

Har du ngra andra tips..?

En liten fråga bara.. gäller detta problem bara Z1010 eller även andra

3G telefoner?.. isf, kan kanske ny firmware (som du nämnde) rätta till
det..

Hmm.. It can be like this. Comviq has may types of services. And the cards they have dosent care if it is 3g or 2g. When the phone detects the 3g system it uses the info on the card to trying to access the 3g system. Since the 3g system and 2g system has same identity in the network. The phone recognices the 3g "No access" identity and dont even bother trying to reconnect to 2g with same id. I dont know if this is so. but to me it sounds like it. If it is like that SE hase to make an update firmware to solve this.
I guess it's better to talk to SE about it then comviq. Since i dont think they are going to change their system. Why it works in other networks can be that they have difrent identities somehow between 2g and 3g.

I have had some problems on many unlocked phones.

I have tryed to flash it with new firmware but still that problem,
but i'll try that remove Comviq 3G from network list and see what happends

I have had the same problem with Z1010 from COMVIQ. The phone is unlocked, have signal but i cannot receive or make calls.
I NEED HELPPPPP.

I have heard that Comviq will change the prepaid cards so it will work in Z1010.
It is the same problem if you have a old card, they don’t work to.
Just to hope that Comviq to it fast.

Well i that some days ago and i dont use comviq so i cant tell. But i have tried to put in a comviq kontant in the phone and it worked. But the sad thing is that the error can arrive after a day or 2 aswell :P
