K750i --> W800i Can I use R1L instead of R1K - GSM-Forum

Does anyone have tried to flash a K750 with W800 R1L firmware? Please post you experience.. Sorry for my bad english but i'm Italian..

I've done it.

Someone said that the R1L for W800 is a fake and is really R1K with altered scripts(or whatever) to make it appear as R1L.

If anyone has flashed their K750 with this and is on O2 network, can they let us know if GPRS is working. Apparently R1K had problems with GPRS on O2.

I'm on Vodaphone and so have had no probs (yet) with the flash.

Yes, many customers! everything perfect and famous GPRS problems and other issues fixed as well :-)

and of course, R1K is one history and R1L is other different history.... who said its same firmware and just renamed? I think he was drunk :-)

Can you get SEUS to work on your K750 (flashed to W800)?

I have also found that I can no longer access my phone via the SE File Manager software that came on CD with phone.

well, as Mr Casino says, now you dont have a K750 and you need the W800 signed sync drivers :-)
