902T usb device cant recognize

Hi,

followed unlock instruction but phone cant be found by Xp, is this a cable or driver issue? When I put orig. voda sim in phone, I see "circuit restriction" msg for 1-2 sec, is this normal?? Phone code : 9999 and is off. I use nec cable tested on GX15 / 25. Tried on 2 pc also.

Regards

Check in Device Manager --> and tell us if you see there your phone in Modem and Ports section, first at all .

If your phone is not visible there, then you have not installed correctly or not at all the USB Drivers. Of course the phone must be connected powered on to the PC, and using an USB Sharp or NEC cable ( is same cable).

regards,
Gobi

Hi,

I dont see the phone in device manager (modem, ports).
When I install TS803_usb-driver_setup.exe on XP it gives me "not passed windows logo..." and I click on continue, this happens 4x until finished.
Phone is powered-on when I connect using nec cable. Tnx for reply.

Regards

When you run the driver-install exe file, the phone must be DISCONNECTED .

IF still you cannot install the driver, then you must try to clean up your Windows, since there can be only Win problem left.

Anyone seen this msg

Hi,

Tried on newly formatted hd, w/ newly installd Xp and 902t driver, phne code off. Also tried on other pc/xp. Same response as before..."usb device not recognized..."! Cable is tested working on other phone.

My question; anyone seen this message on their 902t? " circuit restriction" under "item restriction" title. This message shows at startup for 1-3 sec when orig voda sim is used, . Phone was already on this state prior to any unlocking. Maybe hardware issue here....

Regards
beega
