What exactly model? LG U900? It works only with 128 kb USIM cards-unlock not touches NVM area-if you think,that something is wrong-you can simply flash phone and it will return to original state.Also you can try "Repair NVM" - but don't know if will help-maybe phone's IMEI is blacklisted

Solution exists-ask your operator to change your SIM card to newer
