The last usefully update for us had been the fast unlock one..
We still wait for a REAL and usefull update..
We want to know WHEN lg u880 and 8550 will be unlockeable..
And how to...Because those phones doesn't accept 2g sim card.
PLEASE DON'T REPLY "will be added when will be ready".
We need some news!
All the lastest update had been copied from setool team..
Now make some new! please! we need!
You had ever been great...But not so quickly...Be quikly now!! please!!

Let's see what was the [GLOW=RED]latest updates in about LAST 1 MONTH:[/GLOW]
- 19 models LG2G added
- U8210. U8290, U8150 unlock support added
- Toshiba TS10 software free with full pack
- SanYo S750i software free with standard pack

Total: 24 Phones added for VygisToolbox Standard- and full packs in 1 MONTH !!!

Extra softwares:
- FIRST IN THE WORLD: EMBLAZE Sting6 ..... and supporting also DBTel J6
- New software - O2X7 flasher-unlocker

Setool is a nice piece of Sony-Ericsson software, but it don't support any of this non - Ericsson phones --> this much about copying.

However, if all the work and all this updates in one month are not enaugh for you, just because the U880 and U8850 are not supported ==> well, then buy a device that supports them

Since one of this phones is Qualcomm based and the other is Sony-Ericsson, and till now NO DEVICE support this phones unloking --> maybe you will make the software yourself, if you think it is so easy ...

In italy we haven't locked alcatel...we just have

-Lg SE
-Lg qualcomm
-Nec
-Motorola
-BB5

I know vygis is not a nec or motorola or a nokia tool.
I buied it only because it's the best LG tool.
But, unfortunatly, in italy we haven't the phones that had been added, but the only not-unlockable phone that i can suppose vygis will add are lg 880 and 8550.
I'm sorry if you had interpreted as a critic my thread, but it was just a question..
When we'll be able to unlock these phone with vygis?

The author is doing his best to deliver a solution for this , as fast as possible.

So, be sure that he will release it the moment he will succeed.

But it is not possible to say now if it will take 1 day or 1 month...

At least U880 has this problem. Unlocking is not enaugh --> it need to convert the phone so it accepts 2G simcard.
And this is something nobody managed to succedd for this phone till now.

I don't know where is the problem. I have a vodafone 128K usim, is that a 3g USIM? do you agree?

Oh yes , Italy is full of LG 2G
I repaired a lot of LG2G from TIM, Wind...

so, seems u are not in Italy (neither do I)

and i live in italy..
Anyway, if I cut my 128k sim (of vodafone or tim) it's possible that the phone will accept it? (if unlocked)...

not but must be solution for repair

short story:
2G is basic gsm tehnology (sound and data)
3G in enhanced 2G capabilities (added live video transmisions)

long story:
for more information search internet for 2G, 3G specifications.

ps
for new generation of LG3G , 2G capabilities are disabled (like 8180, 8360 etc)
and for this must be rebuilded zones for 2G capabilities (this is reason of patching in all service sw)

We can use 3g sim such as vodafone 128k or tim 128k..
where is the problem?
For mini usim we can cut or buy back cover from u.k....
So gobi..we don't need necessary patched firmware, it's sufficient unlock..
And we can put into ours 3g sim.
p.s.
i really know what's a 2g and a 3g simcard and system..so don't come here to do the teacher Raklm
