KE970 and KE770 Debranding - GSM-Forum

Having a little trouble in deciding what flash files to download from support to debrand these phones, I tried flashing the KE770 with this file LG-KE770_KE770P40_V10f_EN_EE_KZ_LT_LV_RU_UKR_fw.crf but now the handset no longer turns on.

The main reason I want to debrand them is because Telstra Australia have made the right software key a Telstra Bigpond button and as far as I can tell its unable to be changed from the phone it self.

Simply flash phone using last LGI_1_29SC version and uncheck "Skip boot sector" in "Flasher section".Also you can write to your KE770 not only flashes from KE770,but and from ME770c also.

cheers thanks for that, well that explains why the KE770 didn't work. Will try this tommoro hopefully every thing will be all good.
