Hi
Can Vygis unlock a LG u890? I can not find the answer. maybe someone here can help please. The phone is on 3.

Did'nt think this was such a difficult question, anyway I have found the answer myself, I always thourght forums were to help.

Hi,
Having found the required software I needed to perform the “Temporary Unlock”
On the LG U890, I carried out the Flash using Vygis. All went well and completed ok. I followed the help instructions as below by inserting a 3g sim card, powered up phone, plugged in LG charger, phone showing charging, “Menu” -- “Tools” – “Unit converter”. Leaving the charger on the phone I removed the battery, 3g sim card and within 5 seconds put in T-Mob sim card, replaced the battery and waited for the phone to power down and reboot. After 10 minutes the phone never powered down or rebooted. I removed the charger and waited, nothing, I removed the battery and it powered down, replaced the battery and pressed power up button. The phone powered up but the screen says “USIM locked”
Any one able to help please.

temp. unlocking, flash phones with flash from support(flash in name must have

- after flashing do next :

for models U300 and U890 (64k and 128k SIM supported) :
a) insert original 3G card to your phone
b) power ON phone and connect charger or USB cable to it
c) phone must show charging
d) go to "Menu"-"Tools"-"Unit converter" and select it
e) fast change original 3G card with your SIM card(your SIM
card must be without PIN)
f) wait until phone will reboot
