LG P970 security (gesture) code ( REPORT ) - GSM-Forum

For remove security or gesture code P970 try set KP100 and use KG800 cable.

Phone must be ON. After remove security wait for restart and wipe (do not remove battery).

It works for me ;-)

run lg infeon flasher, set model lg-kp100, connect port, connect phone by gm750 rj45 cable to box, click RESET PHONE and wait

phone will reset, show android logo for a moment after that will show startup logo (it takes more time then usually - just wait), after that phone will start with factory defaults.

tested by me on 1 piece, do on your own risk.

- differance pinout about gm750 & p970/990 that gm750 not have resistor 56k but p970 have resistor from pin2 to gnd about other pins is the same

.

do you see P970 pinout? KG800 ? i think is LG 7050 pinout mybe

P970 mini-usb like V9 moto and last news samsung

Yes, I know about resistor but i didnt have time for assemble it - got that phone only for few minute so i conected, tested and reported

also if i will have another piece soon i build right cable and check just for curious

hi bro just use GM750 cable power on the phone open polar choose lg kp100 and set factory

This method work fine for me
1) Z3X LG SGOLD3 Tool software -> Select Model LG KS360 -> INSERT LG GW300 FBUS Cable
2) Power on Phone, insert cable into phone
3) Press factory reset

within 5-10 second, your phone will take a restart and everything will be perfect.

Yes, there is sign on that cable from GPG, so i assume that it is right

It is not neccessary to use this kind of home made cable (i didnt build it one).
