???????LG Shine-Vygis???????? - GSM-Forum

Hi there I have just recently bought vygis & was wondering if any1 could
give me intsructions on unlocking LG shine.
I've heard that I need a USB cable but I need as drivier that converts USB-Seriel to make the computer thinks its com port so I can assign it to the softwear????

Please can some1 reply back A.S.A.P

Just read the ONLINE MANUAL sticky thread and after installing - just select unlock and phone type - then you have the button with ? sign if you need any further help.

The mannual is a bit out of date. It dosent explain what softwear unlocks what modle of phone etc the unlocking procedures listed are not specified for which models it unlocks, is it ment to be for all models of LG?

Use software LGI_1_25SC.exe for unlocking LG Shine

U need RJ-45 cable for KG-800 follow the steps:
1.Open LGI_1_25SC.exe
2.Select COM Port(USB-RS232 by Vygisoft) and press Conect COM Port
3.Press conect to fone(press power button a little after this)
4.When Vygis done reading fone info press Unlock
5.Wait finish operation and ur phone is unlocked

Its the LG KE970, is it the same instructions above? its the cable part im confussed about, some ppl are saying use USB & some ppl are saying use rj45??? please some1 help!

Hi bro as Auto11 sayd both work with any LG shine so just follow the instructions

Hi mate it doesnt matter the cable that u use...use USB or RJ-45 doesnt matter with both cables is going to read the fone just select one and unlock ur fone u can do with any cable USB,Serial,RJ-45...
I almost unlock with RJ-45 and Serial cable

Thank You, I was trying to select usb in vygis but im not sure how to! I was told that if you use usb u have to have a special usb cable which makes the computer think that the cable is seriel???? I'll try again with usb cable with the drivers that you get with the phone.

I have tried to connect phone to the softwear but the phone dosent get connected the port is connected, just when you click on connect phone, it comes up power on phone but the phones already on, i've tried pressing thre power button but nothing happens. The phone just dosent get connected???????

Did u intall correct drivers?did u select correct COM Port?
Unistall ur drivers and try drivers that are on support sectio from Vygis
U also can try with RJ-45 cable and serial...i am sure u have RJ-45 cable if bought a new box...about power button just press it a little dont turn on fone
