LG2G Chocolate Phones: After flashing, Insert Sim - GSM-Forum

I have problems with 2 LG phones, after flashing, both are Insert Sim

The 1st is KE800 which I flashed with
LG-KE800_KE800P40_V10f_EN_EE_KZ_LT_LV_RU_UKR_fw.crf

The 2nd is KG800 which I flashed with
LG-KG800_KG90P64-86-V11i-***-XX Aug 17 2006CodeData_FW.crb and
LG-KG800_KG90P64-86-V11i-***-XX Aug 17 2006AlchemyData_FULL_#2.crb

They both came to me without power (and have not been opened B4), and after flashing, they both power on OK, but Insert Sim.

I wonder if there is a special way of flashing these phones

no, no special way, if they say "insert SIM" then probably its hardware problem, if there was something wrong with flash file or flash proccess, then you will get "wong card" or something like that [the phone will see the card, but will reject it], but when the phone cant see the card at all, i guess its hardware problem.
by the way, did u try more than one SIM?

I tried with plenty sim cards, and we checked hardware (incl. changing flex-on KG800)
It did SEE sim on one occasion, but when we tested other sims, still insert sim, and we returned to sim that worked, then "insert sim" again

Brother just try " repair service not available " option in software and post rersults

i think its not software problem, try phone hardware

Yes my man.
It worked on the KG800 1st try
But KE800 doesnt have that option (Infenion Softwrae)

For KE800 try "Repair EEP"-read only original eeprom before.

I already did this (Repair EEP), but. . . . ouch, I didnt read original eep backup.
ANyhow, still insert sim.
I have dropped it for hardware check-up BTW

check flex cable, or try to push harder the connectors of UI board! It worked for me!
