UFS-3 + Vygis = vygUF-4 ?! - GSM-Forum

Our client purchased Vygis Tool Box. install it without any problem... after this, he connected its UFS-3 box.. but ufs software request activation string

We connect this UFS-3 to other PC, windows found the new device, see...

origial ufs drivers not install, approach only "Vygisoft VSD2XX New Drivers". install.
run ufs sofftware, but we see same error - reguest activation string......

How repair it UFS-3?

Had same problem, you programmed Vygis box to Universal box, but this programs also all FTDI pluged in. If you want to program Vygis box to Universal box and viceversa, unplug rest of the boxes.

dear try to used one by one
Ex:
u want to used UFS restart ur computer & connect ur Box
===========Vyges============================
u cant used 2 Boxes in one USB u mast change it
or u can used 2 windows in computer
i have in my computer 4 USB connector
& setup ur mother board device USB
this work with me

if u want make vygisbox to unibox remove all another boxes from USB !!!
Yestarday i destroy my twister with this

Hello

That Tornado was not becomming Vygisbox only by starting the software.
The customer has used the Vygis Bos <-> USBbox programmer and forgot the Tornadobox also connected.

And in Vygistoolbox section where he has downloaded the programmer software it is written:
" This is all you need to program the Vygistoolbos to USBox and back. It is 100% tested.
The manual is complete, but however if you don't need to do this, and you don't feel that drivers installing /uninstalling is your strength - then don't play with this "

[glow=red]Especially when you use a '' USB Programming software" on a PC, then DISCONNECT ANY USB device you don't need there -- this is GENERAL rule.[/glow]
I sayed here also that it is recommended to disconnect any dongle-box from the PC when you don't use it, because you never know what software can give you an unexpected result with the one or other connected device :
Can LPT dongle be plugged in all the time?

Of course the VygisBox <-> USB box programmer SOFTWARE has ''programmed'' also the eeprom of the Tornado/Twister , and of course it will program most of FTDI based devices/cables that are connected to the PC

- Best and safest way to repair now the Twister/Tornado is to find a way to send it to the Manufacturer for reprogramming.

Also: [glow=red] You can use Tornadobox and Vygis on the same PC (BETTER NOT SIMULTANEOUS BUT) without any problem. Just do NOT CONNECT THEM BOTH at the same time and then also try to Program ...[/glow]
