Same problem- NO TAT MODE- even when using all the methods prescribed above.

It doesn't list the master code, making it impossible to lock if the phone has hone freeze.

its just a matter of timing
put battery into phone but not connected to contacts
insert s7070 cable and click get info then insert battery all the way in

select B7722_m click read codes insert com cable without battery then insert battery and keep pressing 4-5 second power button then phone goes to tat mode

This is the 100% solution. Unlocked 20 handsets of A157 in the last 3 weeks with this method.

1. Select A157
2. Cable in.
3. Battery in holder NOT touching contacts.
4. Press Read Info.
5. As soo as you see Entering Tat mode insert battery fully into phone.

Absolutely works 100%

SGH-A157 Network unlock procedure:

Step 1: Remove sim card from phone and turn the phone on.

Step 2: Dial *2767*3855# This will initiate a Full reset for Samsung A157

Step 3: Once the phone restarts, dial #*7337# This will remove sim lock and reset phone

Step 4: Now insert your sim card. and restart the phone.

Very good now your phone has imei cleared to 0000000000000 and no more connect to network.
