Cannot unlock i917 - GSM-Forum

I tried everything I have cable s7070 from ipmart and 2 phones. I powered on the phone and connect cable click unlock then it says check serial communication then operation failed!
What can I do? The cable is brand new.

here too i917 with windows 7.5 cannot unlock with nspro 6.5.3 and uart cable, but it worked with other box and usb cable and ##634# , *#7284# select "modem usb diag"
