Complete guide to repair IMEI on M919 running 4.4.2

As all you noticed new 6.7.1 nspro causes to may troubles to users. For me it "bricked" few phones on unlocking and imei repair. EFS backup made with nspro cannot be written back in order to fix EFS and IMEI. So it`s totally useless. However, always do EFS backup.
Hope Elco will take care of that.

In order to change/fix/repair IMEI on GS4 m919 on 4.4.2 UVUFNB4 modem/baseband has to be downgraded. Root required.

1. Root with ch-auto-root
CF-Root Download

2. Use attached Odin flashable UVUMDL modem
Modem_UVUAMDL.tar

3. using nspro fix/change IMEI

4. restore modem with attached uvufnb4 modem pulled out from stock 4.4.2
M919UVUFNB4.BLs.NON-HLOS.MODEM.tar

this modem tested many times. with other modems from other source you may experience issues with sound and wifi.

Will the ch-auto-root CF Root work with all 4.4.2 android versions and also 4.3 or is it just for the M919 ?

haven`t tried on i337 4.4.2. I believe, there is no root method for i337 4.4.2 so far.

I tried this process with the modem downgrade but the phone freezes and the imei repair fails when running on 4.4.2. Please let me know if any of you guys experience this issue too. I've test the modem downgrade extensively on other lower revisions and they all work fine but for some strange reason it only happens with this version. I'm still running the older version of NSPRO so do you guys think that this might be the issue because I'm still on 6.6.8 b/c allot of other members said that after this revision the software is giving them allot of difficulty when performing certain service functions.

im agree the solution works perfect , i think those guys only downgrade the baseband but never put in back the NB4 baseband when they done with nspro, you guys have to follow the steps already did 4 of them. (m919)
