Galaxy N7000 dont ask pin in 4.1.2 only 2.3.6

Hi
I have a galaxy note n7000 when i put firmware 2.3.6 he ask the pin code and work ok.
In version 4.X.X dont ask the pin code.. to work on this version i have to go to security.. disable pin code.. then turn on the phone and he works ok.
Already try 2 or 3 firmwares 4.X.X and always the same thing.
why???

After flashing to android 4.x.x, puth the phone in recovery mode and perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
That should solve the problem.

Are we talking about "PIN" code or "user code" cos if we talking "pin" then entering it 5 times will block sim card and PUK will be needed but if "user code" then factory reset and wipe data should sort it.
PIN code usually refers to Sim security whereas User code is phone security.
