Question Has Anyone tried to repair the imei of the M819N with the I527 as the chosen device.


I am just curious is this has been tried and was it successful??

Yep, I do the Metro Mega using the I527 option all the time.

Not much to it. It works on any M819N baseband. Just dial *#0808# set it to dm+modem+adb then root phone and run the write IMEI option. It takes about 2 minutes.

I have a theory that I am going to try in the next couple of days on the i527 4.4.2. Like the S4 active and Tmobile note 3 on basebands higher than ne6 you have to downgrade the kernel then root it then put original kernel back on. I am going to extract the kernels from the older rom and the new one and try to downgrade the kernel and root it. I will let you know how it goes.
