Help, unlock R225 - GSM-Forum

Customer wants his R225 back, i unlocked it with NS-Dongle by choosing RXXX and pushed unlock, but not it wont work with any SIM card except the T-mobile one that it was originally locked to..

How do i fix this?

nevermind, i downloaded a cracked program and pushed unlock and it worked just fine.. im guessing NSdongle is broken with this phone. i tried a dozen times and just keept getting "wrong card"

i even used NS-box as the serial port.

I am getting the same problem. I use the "Rxxx" option and it says "operation sucessfully completed" but when I put a SIM chip in the phone, it says "Wrong Card".

I tried using the "C225" option since the C225 looks exactly the same as the R225 but it still does not work.

What is this "cracked" program you are talking about?

C225 is totaly different from R225
Different phone, Different platform.

yeah but i tested out 3 R225 phones, your software says its unlocking them, but it still says wrong card when you boot them up.

this was fixed by other software

In other words, the NS Dongle cannot unlock an R225.

What must I do to unlock a Samsung R225?

R225 is such an old phone free unlockers exsist. just search for one.

I did a google search on "unlock samsung R225 software" and got 79,000 hits. All of them are asking for money.

Can you provide a link where I can find the software?

NSDongle unlocks it just fine.
That phone Does not accept 64k sim cards.

I contacted T-Mobile and they e-mailed me the instructions and unlock code to unlock my phone. I put a 64K cingular SIM into the R225 and it worked great!

Just enter #0111*<unlock code># and off you go!!!

i unlocked one today, after trying to unlock the phone twice the phone is still display wrong card. i turned the phone off, because i had to do something else. after about 15 minutes, i turned the phone back on it is looking for network and it's unlock.

I told you, Old phones' New phones', we repair not sell. So NsDongle is a good box and its going to go far, if & only if both Old & new samsungs repairing are considered.

PS: thanks for ur help on "incorrect parameter". I solve it just the way u said it.
