i9000 galaxy still locked after direct unlock - GSM-Forum

I did direct unlock but message appears on screen: SIM network unlock PIN.

Tried read codes: operation failed.

Firmware version 2.1 update 1.

Tried many times. Same result every time.

I have unlocked i9000 before, no problems.

This phone works ok with original T-Mobile sim card.

reset the phone *2767*3855# and unlock again if it's still ask for code put 00000000 ( 8zero)

I caried out factory reset and unlocked phone again. I did not get asked for codes again.

Phone is now unlocked
