Downgrade the phone to android 4.0.4 then write imei on the phone.
Then upgrade it back to 4.1.2

Next time, don't root 4.1.2 manually.
Select "i9100 4.1.2" on NsPro to unlock the phone.

Downgrade to 4.0.4
Root
Use nspro 6.0.6 to fix imei & serial
Update to 4.1.2
Use nspro to unlock (i9100 4.1.2)
Phone unlocked with both imei & serial fixed

thanks nbkappa

but i have some other question:

What kind of file tar are you using for the downgrade? can you say me the specific name of file or post the link??

same question about Root files, what kind of root files are you using? what procedure you used for the Root? you have a link for root files?

the version that you mean is the lastest of NSPro? at today is 6.6.1

sorry for the many questions but i wanna try to execute the same specific procedure that you have used, becouse i have tryed different ways but none work.

Thankyou!

Thumbs up 412

enter recovery : wipe files, wipe cache, restart

then odin 1.85, download mode and

select PDA, use : I9100XWLPT_I9100XXLQ6_I9100NEELP4_HOME.tar.md5

, phone will restart

again download mode, select PDA, use : CF-Root-SGS2_XX_NEE_LPD-v5.4-CWM5.tar, phone will restart

take out the battery, note down SN & IMEI

go to Developer > Enable USB Debugging

use NSPro 6.6.0,

selected i9100 rooted, go to Write/Fix IMEI (something like that), enter numbers, box will do the job

at this point , after restart, both SN + imei should be fixed

more :

use same odin, select PDA, choose : I9100XWLSD_I9100OXXLS6_I9100XXLS8_HOME.tar.md5

after restart, enter recovery, wipe files, wipe cache

phone will restart, go to Settings > Developer > Enable USB Debugging

go to NSPro 6.6.0 , choose i9100 4.1.2, then UNLOCK

make sure you follow all steps NSPro needs for unlock

also, some samsung drivers will be requested during unlock

at the end you should have i9100 with 4.1.2, unlocked, with IMEI + SN

samsung files from samfirmware, for tar file, use google

1. You can use NsPro to flash the firmware to phone. No need Odin.
After flashing, perform Wipe Data from recovery mode.

2. No need to root android 4.0.x for unlock or imei
Just select i9100 4.0.x on NsPro and perform the operation you need.

Problem solved:

i have had 2 important problems
1. phone was not confirgured correct --> the adb drivers canot be installed

2. Bluestack running --> don't allow to adb shell to connect to android phone

be everytime sure to have closed bluestacks apps ( android emulator)

Procedure used for fix imei I9100 :

close all kies processes and bluestacks

downgrade phone to ICS 4.0.3 by odin

( if phone dont start , or show some kind of error then : enter in recovery mode -->
vol. up + home + power --> wipe data and wipe cache -->reboot phone

root the phone:

copy CWM and SU-Busybox-Installer ( download area of nspro I9100 root) in Sdcard of phone.

shutdown phone

enter in recover mode --> apply update from external storage --> select CWM file and then open the SU-Busybox-Installer . --> go back and reboot phone with the command in the screen

when phone is started be sure that appear the "Supersu" on apps of phone.

(if it dont appear root it again).

type *#9090# and set speed to 115200 --> go back

type *#7284# and set:

UART su --> MODEM

USB su --> PDA

restart kies BE SURE BLUESTACKS IS CLOSED (OR STOPED)!

connect phone to PC and let install all drivers ---> check in device manager if drivers are installed correctly (if don't maybe can have a problem with firmare reinstall it using a 4.0.x version and same procedure of before)

when drivers are installed then

go to phone settings--> developer options--> enable USB DEBUG

start nspro 6.6.1 (lastest version ) --> set model as 4.0.x --> write imei and sn

check if imei is fixed (*#06#)

upgrade the firmware of the phone at the lastest version if you want.

Thankyou very much for help to Mr Elco and NSpro
