i9195 s4 mini is a nightmare to root and imei !

As above title says, been doing a s4 mini all night ?
Was trying to repair imei. Phone is running 4.2.2
Tried everything but it just would not root !
Tried everything from support inc multi root v1 and 2 but no good
Then I tried the v root but sadly im not Chinese. So then I flashed it with the flash_for_root from support ?
Still wouldn't root.
Eventually I bit the bullet and used the cwm root from goooooooogle.
Had to put a file in root of phone memory and then flash a different file with oden.
That actually finally rooted the phone.
So then I used nspro to repair imei, all goes well and completes fine but imei not changed ???
So I go into apps - suser icon and it says I need to update something so I agree and phone goes back into recovery mode and I have to run the cwm for a 2nd time !
Back to nspro and finally repair imei and it really does do it this time.
But then lots of the apps keep failing like Google search and the weather app ?
So I do a full factory reset and bob my uncle its done !

Thus isnt a tutorial, but hopefully it will help someone as I searched tge forum and found nothing really.
So there you go, my nightmare.
Hopefully it will save some one else having one

yesturday i unlock one of this and was like to eat a candy

i root the phone with chine root and later with vroot and

when i did unlock read nvm and walla after when power on imei was 00

so i wrote againd and restar my phone and work with full signa and internet


thans to nspro

and t999 4.3 and i747 4.3 unlock with not problem

Kingo root is another alternative to root I use it all the time

Does kingo work with all Samsung android phones mate and mainly the s4 mini 4.2.2 and 4.3 ?

I know it works well with 4.3 but you just need to update your super user to the latest so it can disable know as for 4.4.2 I have a s4 from at&t and I'm soon gonna try to unlock

Thanks for reply mate, just one more thing (as columbo would say) how do I update the super user to the latest one without rooting the phone first ?
Isnt the idea of rooting the phone to give the phone superuser rights ?

Root the phone first using kingo root kingo root will install super user 3.65 the best and easiest way to to update super users is thru the appstore most recent is version 3.94 update and click on the app and it should give u two screen first is how to update super user thru a custom recovery or a normal(I choose normal they I install a custom recovery) and second it will try to disable knox something I always have a habit of doing us downloading a root checker to make sure it's rooted

Ive seen a lot of people talking on different forums about it being a lot easier to root s4 mini i9195 when its got 4.3 software on it ?
Butyas far as I can see, Samsung haven't released 4.3 for the s4 mini ?

This phone is driving me nuts...can't be rooted...
I have tryed evreything:
changed firmware,VRoot, SRSRoot, Kindo,MultiRoot2.....
No rooting that's a pain in the asss phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any safe unlock for this phone ??????????????

But u can unlock this phone doing Knox disable search in google n u will find solution on xda.

Have you tried exactly what I did in the 1st post.
Ive since been told that kingo root is the best for s4 mini but you must update superuser from app store after applying the root ?
