Download and install latest nspro version again from : : NsPro Downloads: :
Then try again.

The phone IMEI must be numeric.
If the imei is null (unknown baseband), then you must solve the baseband problem first, then write IMEI by NsPro.

hi, the imei is currently numerical. and my software version is the current version.
when i plug in the uart cable should any of the leds (rx/tx or the on led) light up? as at present if i plug the cable in none of the lights light up. the tx led flashes when its trying to look for the cable towards the end of the process. And my cable is a new one which i bought a while ago but dont think ive ever used it b4. Is there a way i can text my box on the uart end? maybe theres a problem with my box or the cable? but the cable is new so i dont think its that.

there are many other models that require uart cable for unlocking.

I9250 however, require a mofdification on the cable for IMEi write.
Check the i9250 RJ45 cable schematic from nspro support area and compare it to NsPro S7070 cable schematic.

yep the resistor has been canged, and i even used a second resister in case the first one was faulty from another supplier but still no change. thinking maybe either the box is faulty or the cable. but which one do i replace first lol. the only other samsung i have to hand is an s2 is there anyway i can test the part of my box or cable on the s2 ?

No. windows 7 x64 wont be a problem.
Most likely, the problem is from the phone or the cable.

For I9250 the resistor from the cable must be 560K.
There are many cable mnufacturers who build the cables according to the my schematic from nspro support area.
The problem is that not all of them fallow the schematic exactly...

Contact me by yahoo messenger and i will help you to solve that imei problem.
