1. Downgrade to 4.0.4. It's possible via Odin

2. Write IMEI

3. Upgrade to 4.3

4a. Flash Root Kernel via Odin w0lfdroid[dot]com/2013/12/Safe-Root-Android-4.3-Galaxy-S3-S4-Note-No-Warranty-Void

4b. Root with SafeRoot w0lfdroid[dot]com/2013/12/Safe-Root-Android-4.3-Galaxy-S3-S4-Note-No-Warranty-Void

Please read the tutorial and the disclaimer very carefully !!!

Replace [dot] with .

Please describe the downgrade procedure to 4.0.4. I can not do it.. I've tryed many methods.. It always give me when I enter recovery "could not mount /system. No such file or directory. could not mount /cache.. etc.
I have used odin 3.0.4 and 3.0.7 with correct PIT file... always boot loop or stuck in Galaxy SIII I9300. I do wipe cache, I do wiped dalvik cache with custom recovery.
It can't be done.

1. Enter download mode with Vol Down + Home + Power
2. Press Vol Up when the phone prompts you and connect phone to pc via micro usb cable.
3. Start Odin (I used 3.09 or 3.10 maybe)
4. Load 4.0.4 firmware into AP. No playing around with PIT menu
5. Press Start and wait till operation finishes with following message fail: 0 / success: 1
6. After finishing, restart phone, hard reset and clear cache may be needed (Vol Up + Home + Power)
7. Write IMEI with NSPRO (with usb debugging enabled)
8. Repeat Step 1, 2. and step 3 with 4.3 firmware. Repeat steps 5 and 6.
9. Flash with Root kernel and use Safe Root to root (from previous post)
