I have a nill/nill imei number on a i9300

I downgraded to 4.1.2
tryed a repair on the imei using standard usb then swaping half way through to s7070 cable but at this point it failed to find the phone. i have ordered a new s7070 cable as think it might be that.

should i try flash with 4.2.2

any help would be great cheers
