Please fix E720 unlock bug (says unlocked, but isn't) - GSM-Forum

This bug have existed in all versions, and i'm experiencing it on all E720:

When unlocking the phone, NSDongle will say "Succsesful", and the phone will start with other sim (if inserted). It looks like it's unlocked.

But next time you start phone, it is still locked.

Usually it will be completely unlocked if you unlock it 3-4 times, but today i got one that i stressed with in 10 minutes before it was compeltely unlocked. I guess NSDongle said succsessfull about 20 times.

So please check out the E720 unlock rutine...

After further Review I'm not so sure Rxxx works either?

That is a bug on phone's NVM area, not on software. To fix that problem, use Build Default NVM function from Service Jobs.

No. It build default NVM area (eeprom).

no user data is deleted on building default nvm
