I live in Romania (country member of European Union)

-For countryes outside EU, is prefferable to send only the phone PCB (mainboard) of i900 or i8510 to avoid the custom taxes.
-For other models than i900 and i8510 you must send the phone, not only the PCB.
-If you dont know how to dissensemble the i900 Omnia, here are the video instructions: http://rapidshare.com/files/191762752/MVI_1126.zip
-If you think you cant dissensemble it, then just send the phone.
Better to pay the extra custom taxes than to damage the phone wile trying to dissensemble it.
-The declared value for shipping must be under 100$ to avoid the custom taxes.
-You must attach a note (letter) to the phone in package with your contact details (yahoo messenger, skype, sonork, ICQ, e-mail address, etc...) to announce you when the phone is repaired and ready to be sent back
-If the phone is hardware damaged in any way, i wont touch it and send it back immediatly.
-I need to open the phone to access to phone PCB in order to repair it.

The cost of reparation is 30 Euro + shipping costs

-The payment can be done by paypal or moneybookers after i confirm that the phone is repaired and ready to be sent back.
-After the payment is completed, i send the phone back and i give you the tracking number to check the shipment status.

-The phones can be sent by:
1. DHL, FEDEX, UPS: -Fast but expensive:
-shipping cost about 50-80 Euro (one way)
-will take maximum 3 days to get the phone to me and max 3 days back
-You get tracking number to check the shipping status

2. Airmail (regular post) - Slow but very cheap:
-shipping cost about 4-10 Euro (one way)
-Will take about 7-10 days to get the phone to me and 7-10 days back
-You get tracking number to check the shipping status (not so acurate like DHL, FEDEX, but is ok..)

any samsung official servic can't repair bricked omnia (monahans) the price is good.
if it's to much - wait 3-4 mounth for free solution.
then your omnia - will cost 250/300 euro.

i dont think that dead omnia repair will ever be free because it require a special and very expensive hardware.

Luck at Z500 dead boot repair.
The phone is on the market from over 4 years. And still no free solution to repair boot on it.

And Z500 is extremly easy to repair comparing with Omnia.

@All who not trust to send phones to Elco.:I have send one phone before 1-2 months maybe and it was successfully repaired for 1 hour after elco received it.He replays always when is online on sonork(i think on other messengers also).Also my very good friend vascof1 also send him phone for repair.same situation and whit him.Phone was in same condition(external ofcorse) as i send it.No scratches on LCD and covers.

In one word:Elco provides very fast and real service from mine experience.Dont hesitate to contact him

i tried to flash an inovo8 by firmware update ..after a failure the phone was stucked in "inovo8" on screen..i sended the phone to elco ..and he repaired the phone for me..thanks elco for his help!

Just received i900 which was repaired by Elco. Everything is perfect. Phone was sent by regular mail, it just took some time, but shipping cost was 6 euro total .
