I have run the unlock on the phone and it advises that it has unlocked but does not unlock phone any advise woud be helpful. Using standard USB cable to attempt the unlock

did you try i9100 root?

root the phone first then unlock it as i9100 root

will give tht a go and see ow that goes. this was a brand new one just out the shop
