Download latest version again from http://rapidshare.com/files/289832640/NsPro_v5.5.3.exe and install it.
Then fallow the software instructions.

Have tried with 2 computers, have newest version, and have tried with 3 cables (2 e210 and 1 c450). I have been working with 3 phones and with all I get the following:

Checking serial communication...
Reading locks...
Operation failed!

Honestly I don't know how to change the usb port from a non-HIGH speed port to a High speed port. Can that be the problem? Any suggestions?

no. The USb is not a problem.
Perform a full reset on the phone by typing *2767*3855# then try again using this nspro version: http://rapidshare.com/files/289832640/NsPro_v5.5.3.exe

Can the master unlock code undo a phone freeze? Or do we have to wait for a flash file to be uploaded to the support page?

use master lock code to unfreeze the phone.
You can use master lock code to unlock phone code also.

i know the topic is kind of old but im having same kind of a problem..i gave my phone to a shop for them to unlock apperantly they did unlock it so it can be used with other simcards but they disabled the touchscreen :S so it wont work as u know the phone is all about touchscreen...so i cant even type anything on it..is there a chance to reset it or somehow reunlock it succesfully??

i am using latest exe

i read the codes for the t479
it gave me the master code
and the other codes as well

the phone is freezed
but i do as the exe says
to write the code then hit #
i do so but always sends an error
"invalid index"

i tried to do with normal way
with other codes but dont do the job

what can i do

to unfreeze the phone:
power on the phone with any sim card inside.
the phone will give you 2 options: CALL and SOS
Tap CALL
Then type in the 8 digit master code without any * or #
Then the phone will ask for net lock code.
type in the net lock code and the phone will be unfreezed and unlocked.
