problem with d500 after unnlock - GSM-Forum

i unlocked 2 d500 that came from uk locked orange. after unlock phones can't accept any calls, if you call the phone it rings but can't accept calls. it also can't make calls always call fail. i tried both sim cards that work on 1900 and 900. how do i fix this problem with agree?

First u must tell me how u have unlocked that phones in what country u try to use them.

if you are trying to use the phone on O2 it won`t work it is a fault with orange firmware so i have been told and i have never successfully unlocked a orange d500 and got it to work here in isle of man and manx telecom are a subsidary of O2, and i have tried 4 of them

i unlock phones by choosing unlock then plugin cable press power on phone phone goes in tat mode then program says sucess in writing all the different locks.
i am the caribbean i tried to use it on cable & wireless and digicel

hi i have been told reloading the firmware with anything apart from orange will cure the problem

Yes if u will flash phone with diferent flash file it will be OK(If u have not changed IMEI)
