Unlock s8300 - GSM-Forum

Running 5.5.7 of nspro and im trying to unlock a Samsung s8300v.
Problem i have is everytime i press read code, the software closes down after about 10 secs with the nspro has encountered a problem and needs to close message.
I have uninstalled all the software and reinstalled it but it still has the same problem. it also has the same problem with the phone disconnected.
Running Xp service pack 3 any one help me with this problem please?

have u tried uninstall all known installed versions in control pannel. and than delet folder ns pro, than restart. reinstall and than change all ports. 1-15
try and post report

some firmware still not supported without flashing to 8300,

on new version, all firmwares can be unlocked without flashing.

Just use GET INFO function and nspro will read codes from phone.
Then type in the code to unlock the phone.

Your problem is generated by wrong phone drivers.
Make sure that you are using qualcomm drivers delivered with NsPro.
The phone must be detected as "QUALCOMM DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE" on windows device manager.
Not broadcomm or some other device.
If the phone is not detectred correctly, install the drivers manualy then use nspro again to read codes from it.

It seems you handset is going in to mass storage and inturn closing the program.

Try doing this first on your phone scroll phone settings>pc connections> select ask to save.

When you insert the usb cable it will now ask you to choose pc suite, mass storage etc.... select pc suite.

Now the program should stay on and hopefully allow you to finish the process...
