Personally in the past I have used random numbers but fos some reason I always start with a 35 then I just press loads of numbers on my keyboard ! other times I just add 11 to the last 2 numbers so 45 becomes 56.

the reason i now add 11 is simply because If I have to call my network provider for any reason, and they see my imei and its 356767676767676 !!!! it may raise a few eyebrows !

1st 6 numbers, show the make and model of phone, the next 2 numbers=where it was made..
the next 6 are unique to the phone itself, last number is the checksum number..
