Of course not. Until today nobody published any information about BB5 generation simlocks. Code format is the same, a box with boxkey 32969 produced valid codes which are released by Vodafone UK to unlock their customers 6630s. It could be, that BB5 just uses another IMEI mask table but it's more likely that it is a completely different algorithm.

I don't know how operator hardware was updated. Their is a new winlock for phoenix version 2.XX.XXX. That info was in phoenix service bulletin. But if TBD-6 remained the same or if it got a new firmware and / or an additional smartcard SX-x or if there is a new box e.g. TBD-X with or without smartcard is not known, yet.

unfortunatly no we are all waiting for that update in PBB....... maybe it will be the first box to do that... who knows???? maybe zulea can say something more about this....

How is same code format? Because have same number of digits?
And from where you get this box serialnumber? Extracted with free softwares from one good generated code?

I Don't Understand Phoenix Black Box Is The Original Nokia Service Tool! Why Can't You Unlock BB5 !??!? Someone Tell Me Please, It Doesn't Make Sense That Nokia Can't Unlock Their Own Phones !!!

I dont see jaf/twister/ufs/griffin supporting unlocking of it either...
