PBB2 Drives me mad.

Hi there!

I got my pbb2 recently. First of all, LPT connection never worked. I got the box to work with USB connection. since then I was able to flash 2 phones with it, and after that nothing. The device is recognized in the device manager, as nmp fls-4, and virtual port on fls-4, but when I try to search in Phoenix, no connection is found at that certain port number. It really drives me mad, please help solving this problem. I use latest driver and a quite fresh Phoenix release, but not the last.

Please assume that we tried all basic variations, that has been mentioned so far. Ofcourse I tried all LPT port settings, all usb setting for usb connection, all virtual com ports and stuff.
Still my PBB2 is recognized, but only via USB, but phoenix cannot connecto to the fls-4 virtual com port.
Would be nice if Zula said some words on the issue.

After playing with this fukking box for another 3 hours, I gave up. unless anyone comes up with some usable idea, it goes to trash. Impossible to use it. And i won't take "re-install windows and drivers" theories. That's not a solution.

Thank you for advice.
On my laptop the pbbmaintenance 7.0 runs OK, I can change counters, box type without problems. But still, phoenix doesn't see the fls4 on the virtual com ports. So I assume the firmware version is OK. Nevertheless, i cannot connect pbb2 via LPT port neither on my desktop PC, nor on my laptop.

Cheers

more than enough

See on what port is your FLS Virtual com port number. (control panel or device manager)
Then, try to manage conection on same port as FLS virtual is used. Manualy.
Forced it, if possible.

Still no help?
Unins. - reinstall phoenix (with 136). Then try to manage connection automatically. Still no connection detected?? I have no idea then......

GTi with FLSvCOM is often face this problem too, but not with LPT.
And, uh,, yes Mr. Zulea, why is GTi doesn't need any special way in order to handle new phoenix release??
