Recommended operation system and some useful info!

If you have chance, make one clean partition, or use another hard drive, and

- install win2000
- install win2000 service pack4 (you can download it from internet for free)
- install DRV_FLS4_204.exe ( DOWNLOAD LINK )
- install phoenix_service_sw_2004_39_7_70.exe (you can find it in PBB support area)
- install phoenix_service_sw_2004_46_4_75.exe (you can find it in PBB support area)
- install phoenix_service_sw_2004_46_5_76_upd.exe (you can find it in PBB support area)
- install DKU-2 drivers ( you can download it from nokia site CLICK HERE )

If you havent USB2 port on your PC, we recommend to buy PCI USB 2 card, it will be more stable for APE flashing! ( only 8-10 euro in PC shop)

Always connect PBB direct to LPT port!

The problem "mcu error" and some other strange errors occurs with different phones on original nokia fls-4 too

as former nokia FLS-4 user i can tell you, Phoenix isnīt that stable nokia tells....

DONīT: install data packages or phoenix without deinstalling old one before

DONīT: install more than one phone type without restarting your pc.

DONīT: downgrade FLS-4 drivers if asked during installation of data packages

DONīT: use WIN XP Home Edition (works, but more troubles than XP PRO or WIN 2K)

DONīT: use usb hubs for data cables (dku-2...)

DONīT: use notebooks with port *******tors for parallel port

DONīT: use nokia pc suites parallel to phoenix, may cause driver violation

DONīT: use pc for other purpose during flash process

DONīT: downgrade any type of phone, itīs a good chance to kill phone

DONīT: start flash process on 7650 before boot process has finished, may kill phone

DONīT: deplug phone during flash process, may kill phone

DO: if you can, use pc for phoenix/tesla flash solution only

DO: make a new clean windows installation before installing flash solution

DO: use pc with 4 or more REAL usb ports (no hubs)

DO: if you use notebook, plug power cable, accu may be an instable power source

DO: make second partition for cloning flash solution

DO: use norton/symantec ghost for backup flash solution on second partition

DO: plug all needed cables BEFORE installing phoenix

DO: if you have a perfect working flash solution, make clone/backup

DO: if you reinstall or update phoenix, make backup before

DO: plug n-gage data cable for n-gage flashing; itīs needed during flash process

DO: if you use other software than phoenix too, restart pc before flashing

WARNING: sometimes phoenix KILLS whole pc system after installing without deinstall and restart before

SOME LITTLE INFO:

errors may occur too if you try to install minor data packages with one minor package missing in between.

install major DP, then minor 1.1, 1.2. 1.3 ...

after installing one phone type, restart pc, then install then next phone type...

after deinstalling one DP, restart too before installing the new one

if you still have troubles, deinstall phoenix, restart, make backup, install phoenix again
that should solve it

HAVE FUN!!!

Check your power supply.
It has at least 7,5V 1A stabilized for correct work.
