Smart Clip Rip Offs and dodgy ressellers - GSM-Forum

i bought an original smart clip, my resseller helped me with the installation and registration, i didnt know it was the second time it was getting registered, so now after i have done a fresh installation they wont send me a licence as i dont know the username it was registered under the first time, oh yeh how would i when the reseller sold me a used box that he had already registered. Now i cant get hold of them as PHONES CLINIC always say the guys on holiday and the smart clip team dont wanna help as i dont know the first username, my reccomendation to anyone thinking of buying smart clip is you rather go for a clone at least you will be able to use it, i cant even use mine and most people selling the clones will provide you better support but if anyone thinks they can help i will be grateful

Have You try to contact SmartClip team by email, or contact private over this forum (I think username Gsmserver and Gsm support). I had same problem when I bought my SmartClip (my box went dead and reseller gave me his used one, registered on him). I wrote to the smartclip team, and to one of those two guys I mentioned, and they solve my problem.

batter buy cracked version licence fast and cheap only in 2 minite after reciveing payment...any one want he can contact me...

you are right, their attitude towards smart clip custumers is really affecting the sale of their other product like Dreambox and will always do, it has painted the team red, so think b4 buy,

i sent my serial number to one of the smart team support guys and he never got back to me aswell as my reseller, anyone looking for a motorola solution just buy the smart clip its good but i would recomend buying a clone as the person who sells you the clone version will provide you with more support than the smart team, they are really unwilling to help, once youve bought the product thats it they dont wanna know, ive lost alot of business and am now looking to buy the clone version instead

their attitude toward resellers is even worse. it seems like they adopted that business stragedy that is very well know in russia - Sell it and forget it.
I have a stock of smart clips now useless without sc dongle.The only option is to buy the dongles for 60 each.

No support from smart clip. This is the worst box and the worst team i ever dealt with.

Too true!

We wait forever and a day for updates only to find that you need to pay again!

Their sales to South Africa will be zero now anyway as in the months and months we waited, ICASA (the regulator) deemed that networks may no longer sell any handset that is network locked!!

The death of unlocking but the end of rip-off's from the Smart_Clip team!!

There is now free software to do almost everything that Smart_Clip does in any case!
