- In Windows XP if you get ''Privileged Instruction" - this means you have not installed correctly or not at all the USERPORT
Check TotalMoto Manual for this/

- In Windows 98 if your software is starting but it is not detecting any phone - this means you have a USB driver conflict with the ''Motorola Flash Interface'' driver (you can check in Device Manager).

Solution:
Install manually this driver:

- - However most easy installation is in WinXP.
If you are doing it as described in manual- then 99% you can be sure you will succeed from first try.

- ALLWAYS Try to put the phone in Flashmode when connecting to TotalMoto. Then the PC and TotalMoto will recognise the phone as ''Motorola Flash Interface'' and you can do fast your job.
The TotalMoto software can work also if the phone is Powered on, but the PC will ask you to install about 5 drivers (all are in c:/program files/motorola/pst) and you will loose time with this.

If you have a C350 phone and try to flash it without success then read this:

Usually on many C350L if you will check on the label under the phone battery it will be written C350. So lot of people will try to flash/unlock C350L as C350 and will need this info.

If you try to flash a C350L like C350 this then you will get a flashing error or the erase bar will go on and on and not end.

So you have to:
- take out battery, let the phone connected to the USB cable
- keep * and # pressed and put battery on the phone --> if still the phone is not in Flash mode = the buttons in the software are not active, then press also now the power on button
- Well now with phone model C350L selected and C350L flashfile, just flash the phone and all will be ok.


- Also in some verry few cases it has helped to install the Motorola Flash Interface driver like described in the post before.

When TotalMoto software start and fast shutdown:

- check if PBK file is in the c:/program files/motorola/totalmoto directory
- ONLY 1 PBK file (with same serial like the LPT dongle) must be in thar directory.

- check and if necessar adjust LPT port settings:
