TotalMoto installation in Win98 systems - here it is !!! - GSM-Forum

Hello,

Some of our customer installed the TotalMoto software in Win98 systems. For some of them, the Motorola USB drivers did not worked well and as result the software was starting, but was not detecting any phone.

The solution for this is to manually install the USB drivers, like described in folowwing pdf file:
www.gsmtoolS.ro/Win98drv.pdf

This file is also avaiable in the support section of www.TotalMoto.net product website.

- However most easy installation is in WinXP.
If you are doing it as described in manual- then 99% you can be sure you will succeed from first try.

In XP, i did as the manual says but??????

Always this message when i run USERPORT:
DRIVER DOES NOT EXIST:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\USERPORT.SYS

I copied the userport in the drivers folder but still DRIVER DOES NOT EXIST.

I did everything.

so maybe u copy userport.sys to wrong place or windows XP not in C: partation

Well it stuffed my HD on 98 and can not install on any notebook it must conflict with something just stops pc dead .
